This is an original vintage metal advertising thermometer from The Uber Company of Scottdale, Pennsylvania. The piece features the rare early telephone number format “Phone 41,” dating it to the 1920s–early 1930s. Advertising thermometers from this era were typically given out by roofing and heating companies as promotional items, and very few survive in this kind of condition.
This thermometer is in remarkably clean, near-new condition for its age, with bright graphics, a clean surface, and minimal signs of handling. The red liquid column is intact and functional. Metal mounting brackets are solid and original.
